What can I do

What can I do

Looking at 17 Goals – all so wide-reaching – can be a bit overwhelming. So we’ve asked 17 networks and organisations across the city who are doing great work towards reaching one or more Goals to help. The organisations represent a wide range of Bristol people so that we can highlight some of the best local projects and give voice to some of our marginalised communities and amplify their calls to action.

Our Bristol 17 heroes

We’ve also asked them to nominate a hero for the Goal and we’re making a series of short films about these heroes, and releasing them one a week leading up to COP26 in November. Watch the films, and we hope you’ll be inspired to take some action yourself. You’ll see that these are everyday people, and they all share our desire for a greener, fairer future for all.

What Can I Do?

You can make lifestyle changes, talk to friends and family and join in on social media #Bristol17. You may even write to a company or your MP or the Prime Minister about changes you want to see, locally, nationally and globally, to bring climate and social justice. We’re delighted to be working with Tusko, a local digital agency, on this campaign, with support from Bristol City Council Climate Hub and Bristol 24/7.
