Better Uniform Campaign
Working to make school uniforms more affordable, more sustainable and fairer for families.
Global Goals Centre is launching the Better Uniforms Campaign, a new project working with Bristol schools to make school uniforms more affordable, more sustainable and fairer for families.

Over the next three months, we’ll be running student focus groups in schools across the city. These sessions will give young people a chance to share honest views about their uniforms; what works, what doesn’t, and how uniforms could better support students, families and the environment.
Insights from these focus groups will help shape a pilot programme with up to 20 Bristol schools, launching later this academic year, exploring practical ideas such as:
- Lower-waste, longer-life uniform approaches
- Improved second-hand and swap-shop models
- Repair and reuse schemes
- Student-led enterprise and learning opportunities
We’d love your input!
