This toolkit has been developed by the University of the West of England, with young people for young people, and accompanies in-person training and e-learning materials.

Split into 4 key sections the toolkit will cover necessary topics to effectively communicate your climate message. Ranging from team working skills, and understanding different worldviews, to evaluation and impact of your message.

Why we recommend this resource

The activities outlined in this toolkit will help build the capacity to act upon opportunities and ideas and transform them into value/solutions for others. Developed by the University of the West of England’s (UWE) Climate Action Hub, this toolkit has been put together in tandem with young people, with the hope to directly train 150 young people in communication skills to foster more impactful climate action projects.

The Climate Comms Toolkit is a really accessible tool to empower young people and communities to act on things that matter to them to address the ecological and climate emergencies.
