About this resource

Extended description. Approx. 100 words

A weather and climate scheme of work for Key Stage 3 secondary school geography teachers. Although a complete scheme of work is provided on the website (including corresponding PowerPoints, resources and further information), teachers are invited to pick and choose topic areas and adjust lessons as they see fit.

Why we recommend this resource

This weather and climate change scheme of work is found on MetLink; the educational website of the Royal Meteorological Society. Needless to say expert knowledge underpins this teaching aid. You will find a scheme of work and teachers guide (both downloadable) as well as 20 distinct sections containing ready to use PowerPoint presentations and resources. Each section connects clearly with each section of the scheme of work. Recognising that all classes and schools are different, teachers are invited to select what they’d like to use in their classrooms and differentiation ideas are also provided.
