About this resource
The resource includes an Executive Summary and Report on NYFW’s environmental impact alongside a Playbook for Positive Change which provides a range of creatives with guidelines for making sustainable change. The fashion industry contributes hugely to the climate crisis, and this resource offers insight into how NYFW – and other stakeholders – can address their contribution to the problem.
Why we recommend this resource
This resource is a detailed assessment of one of the major stakeholders within the fashion world; NYFW. As well as assessing the event’s environmental impact, it offers useful and practical guidance for creatives to adopt more environmentally-friendly practices and covers all aspects of the event. Importantly, the resource’s information can serve a more global fashion audience, and inspire other fashion stakeholders to follow in the footsteps of a more sustainable NYFW.
