About this resource

Extended description. Approx. 100 words

The geography southwest website is a collaborative, wide-ranging and dynamic resource hub for students, teachers and anyone else with an interest in geography. It aims to promote the subject, with a particular focus on the southwest of England, by providing access to primary, secondary and third level geography resources as well as more general geography related material.

Why we recommend this resource

It is clear that a group of enthusiastic geographers are behind the creation and development of this website. It contains whole sections dedicated to students and educators at primary, secondary and university level. It also welcomes those who don’t fall into these categories, for example there is a section of the website that explores geographically and historically significant places to visit in the southwest of England. There is also an informative climate change section containing articles and news, inviting everyone to become a geographer!
